Wakuku Trick or Treat — Purple Witch
The Purple Witch is the most dramatic figure in the Trick or Treat series. The pointed hat adds significant height to the Wakuku fox, making it the tallest design in the set and the one with the strongest vertical presence on a shelf. The purple tone shifts between magenta and true violet depending on the light — warm lamps pull it warm, daylight pushes it cool.
The Figure That Commands the Most Space
The witch hat changes everything about the figure’s proportions. Every other Trick or Treat costume keeps the fox close to its natural height; the Purple Witch extends upward. On a shelf of similarly-sized designs, this figure immediately draws the eye because it breaks the horizon. Collectors who want a clear visual focal point for a Halloween display tend to place the Purple Witch at the centre or the peak of the arrangement for that reason.
The purple tone is the most light-reactive finish in the Trick or Treat series — more so than in the Handicraft World range. Under tungsten it reads deep violet; in cooler daylight it shifts towards a cleaner purple. Photos of this figure vary more between sellers than any other design in the set, which is a property of the pigment rather than inconsistent production.
